About the Game

Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon Leaf Green Version are remakes of the original Pokémon games (Red and Green). They were made by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Game Boy Advance in 2004.

In these games, you explore the Kanto region, catch Pokémon, train them, and battle other trainers in turn-based fights. New features include a help menu, wireless trading/battling, and a new area called the Sevii Islands.

The games were well received, with many players liking the mix of classic gameplay and new features, though some felt the graphics were simple. They were very successful, selling around 12 million copies worldwide. Pokémon Champions Switch NSP (eShop)

Later, the games were released digitally on Nintendo Switch on February 27, 2026, for the series’ 30th anniversary.
