About the Game

Explore beautiful islands and take photos of Pokémon in the wild.

In New Pokémon Snap, you travel through the Lental region in a vehicle called the NEO-ONE. You will see Pokémon in their natural habitats like beaches, jungles, and deserts. Take pictures of them as they play, move around, or show unique behaviors.

Some Pokémon and plants glow with a special light called the Illumina phenomenon. With the help of Professor Mirror, you will study this mystery and learn more about these strange events. The photos you take will be added to your own Pokémon Photodex.

You can save and edit your photos using tools like brightness, blur, zoom, stickers, and filters. You can also share your pictures with others and see their photos too. Yoshi’s Crafted World Switch NSP + Update (eShop)

Your photos are scored based on pose, size, and how the Pokémon is facing. Rare moments can earn higher scores. You can compare your photos with players around the world.

This game New Pokémon Snap is a modern version of the classic Pokémon Snap from Nintendo 64, now on Nintendo Switch with new areas and Pokémon.

A free update adds 3 new areas (with day and night versions) and 20 more Pokémon to discover and photograph.
