About Game

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is an action-adventure game made by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It is the newest main game in the Metroid series. In this game, players control Samus Aran, a space bounty hunter who travels to the unknown planet Viewros. She helps the local people called the Lamorn and fights dangerous enemies to survive. Samus also faces her enemy Sylux, who wants revenge against her and the Galactic Federation.

The game uses first-person gameplay where players explore different areas, solve puzzles, fight enemies, and unlock new powers. New psychic abilities let Samus control objects, find hidden paths, and guide her attacks. Players can also ride a motorcycle called the Vi-O-La to travel around the world. The Nintendo Switch 2 version has better graphics and mouse-style controls for more accurate aiming. The game was released in 2025 and received positive reviews for its atmosphere, exploration, and visuals.
